6. Officially Announce That Rumoured Standalone Batman Film
The news that Ben Affleck would take over the mantle of Bruce Wayne/Batman from Christian Bale was met with such ire, its a wonder DC and Warner Bros. didnt relent to the pressure and just let him go (that's a joke of course - probably no actor would have inspired much confidence in fans after Bales interpretation). If DC/Warner Bros. really want to make this Spider-Man news go away, all they have to do is make it official that there will be a standalone Batfleck film coming. Its been rumoured that Afflecks Batman will be getting his own movie (following Batman V Superman) for a while now, and the news that this new Batman is getting his own movie would probably be enough to make the internet explode. You know its probably on the cards anyway, all Warner Bros. have to do is get it out to the press.
