7. The Xenomorph Fights The Neomorphs

The Rumour: In the film's climax, there will be a battle between the new, back-bursting creatures known as the Neomorphs and the more traditional-looking Xenomorph, with the latter emerging victorious.

How Likely Is It?: Though it has the potential to play out as very silly if it goes the Jurassic World route of having the classic monster saving the humans from the new monster, this could definitely work if the Xenomorph merely kills the Neomorphs to assert its dominance before moving onto the humans (leading into that apparent final battle outside the ship).

It's definitely believable to a point, especially considering that there's no guarantee the two alien species would play nice, so it's a cautious yes for now. 6/10
