5. Det. John Kimble - Kindergarten Cop (1990)
For those of you who wonder why Arnie always goes for the standard action fare, Kindergarten Cop is your answer. Schwarzenegger is awesome, when hes in the right role, performing the right script and under the supervision of the right director. Kindergarten Cop, however, inserts him awkwardly into a role that clearly exists far outside of his comfort zone for no more valid a reason than the pursuit of a funny gimmick. For that reason, he cant help but fail to hit the mark. But can you blame poor Arnold? The idea was ill-conceived all around, and although it does certainly present a moment or two of note Who is your daddy, and what does he do? both the film, and Schwarzenegger himself fail to ever really get going.
