Arnold Schwarzenegger: Every Movie Ranked From Worst To Best

5. True Lies (1994)

The re-teaming of James Cameron and Arnold Schwarzenegger resulted in the most purely entertaining movie on the director's filmography; a fun and breezy spy caper that delivers plenty of large-scale action sequences with its tongue planted firmly in cheek. The Austrian Oak delivers one of the best performances of his career, and forms a brilliant double act with Jamie Lee Curtis on Golden Globe-winning form. As over-the-top and absurd as True Lies is, you can't help but be carried along by the movie's infectious enthusiasm and sense of humor. With one of the best action directors in history at the helm, it comes as little surprise that the series of set-pieces are handled with supreme style and confidence, with the movie's kitchen sink mentality covering everything from horseback chases to Harrier jets via exploding bridges and Bill Paxton peeing himself.

I don't do social media, so like or follow me in person but please maintain a safe distance or the authorities will be notified. Don't snap me though, I'll probably break. I was once labelled a misogynist on this very site in a twenty paragraph-long rant for daring to speak ill of the Twilight franchise. I stand by what I said, it's crap.
