19. Adam Warlock Will Appear

The Rumour

Though he hasn't even appeared properly yet, Adam Warlock is rumoured to be turning up in Avengers 4 - most likely in the Soul World, according to those rumours. It all stems from the hint from the Russos that Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 3, which will see Warlock's debut, could be set before Infinity War as there are four years between Vol 2 and Thanos' appearance.

That would mean Warlock WAS actually around when Infinity War kicked off and could well be set up to appear in the sequel.

It's not entirely out of the question, but as with Nova it feels like it would be a case of over-crowding unnecessarily and there's not enough establishing work to have him involved. Even if Guardians Vol 3 then retrospectively told the story of how he made it to the Soul World.

More than anything, it looks like fans speculating based on the fact that Warlock is so important in the comics to the Infinity Saga. And it definitely ignores Warlock's long-term history with the Soul Stone that simply doesn't exist in the MCU.
