6. Scarlet Witch - Magic

The Avengers have, up to now, displayed leadership, organisation, brains, brawn, skill and advanced technology between them - but one thing they have distinctly lacked is magic. That void will be filled in Age of Ultron by the enigmatic Scarlet Witch. The twin sister of Quicksilver wields telekinesis and the ability to weave spells, granting the Avengers a whole new set of powers to utilise in their quest to put a stop to evil in the world and, if all else fails, they can throw some magic at Ultron. We don't yet know the full extent of what Elizabeth Olsen's version of the character will be capable of but, if she's anything like the comic book version, she could manipulate probability to lessen the chances of Ultron's success or alter the very reality around him to hamper his plans. However, she's unlikely to possess the same level of power as her comic book counterpart, so she may have to resort to casting Ultron out to another dimension, bombarding him with magical energy blasts or telekinetically messing with his circuitry. Either way, she's definitely a new big gun who could well be the decisive factor in the Avengers' ultimate victory.
