10. Pepper Potts Fully Supporting Iron Man (And Fighting Alongside Him)
After years of Pepper spending her time fearing for Tony's safety, Tony's role as Iron Man and in the Avengers a point of contention for their relationship, her knowledge that he couldn't stop saving people and her reassurance that it was what he needed to do was surprisingly poignant.
Pepper has been in a weird place in the MCU for a while, but her role in Endgame was significant and beautiful, book-ending her role as someone who loved and supported Tony after everything they'd been through.
It was even more significant when, not only did she support him in his decisions, she suited up to fight with him, when in Iron Man 3, Tony had been convinced he had to destroy all his suits for her sake. She was masterful in the fight, clearly having practised in the years since she and Tony started a family.
It was a long road to get to this point, but the acceptance between the two, and Pepper's words of comfort to Tony as he slipped away, remind people what it was that made people fall in love with this franchise, from the very first "I Am Iron Man" to the last.
