42. Groot

Groot's role is almost identical to Mantis. He comes back, he fights for a little while without getting a particularly stand-out moment and then he makes a joke in the background of the humorous conflict between Thor and Star-Lord.

He'll get another chance to shine. This just wasn't really his - or the other Guardians' - rodeo. And at least part of him went into making Stormbreaker, so it sort of means he got more involvement in an indirect way.

41. The Wasp

The Wasp is still very much in the bracket of characters who come back because they have to and who gets a role in the final battle without leaving too much of a mark. She teams up with Ant-Man at one point as they attempt to make it to the Quantum Engine in his van, but they fail and beyond that she's notable for joining in that A-Force tease again.

Let's hope that we get to see more of her in at least Ant-Man 3...
