Avengers: Endgame - Every Oscar It Deserves To Win

This is almost a guaranteed nomination for Endgame, as a huge number of MCU movies have already been nominated for this category in the past.

All three Iron Man films received nominations when they released, as did both Guardians of the Galaxy entries in the MCU storyline.

Doctor Strange, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and the first Avengers movie in 2012 all also received recognition for the fantastic VFX work.

Lastly, but perhaps most tellingly, Infinity War received a nomination in this category, and given that Endgame is a step up from this in terms of sheer scale, it almost seems a lock that Endgame will be on the list of nominees when they're released in early 2020.

Whether or not it will actually go a step further and be victorious in this category will have to be seen.

Taking in to account the amount of characters on screen during the huge battle against Thanos' army, the completely digital white uniforms the Avengers wear when time travelling, and the fantastic ageing effects used on Chris Evans for the Old Man Cap reveal, this won't be a long shot.
