13. Thanos Kills ALL Of The Dwarves?!

The best thing about Thanos is that while he's unstable and very much deranged, he's also fairly reasonable (to the extent that he has convictions and he's only doing what he has to as a "small price for salvation."

To that end, whenever he encounters "enemies" - or indeed anyone - he kills half of their number to help rebalance the universe even as he seeks his ultimate solution. He does it to the Asgardians, to Gamora's people and the other planets she mentions in her exposition dump. He presumably also did the same to Xandar, but they're not important enough to be mourned, apparently.

So, why the hell did he murder EVERY dwarf on Eitri's rig apart from him? That's not balance, that's malice and it doesn't fit his agenda at all.
