8. It's In The Quantum Realm

There has to be a reason why Ant-Man & The Wasp comes out after Infinity War, despite the suggestions that it's going to follow directly on from Captain America: Civil War chronologically (as suggested by the trailer and the Infinity War prelude comic).

That explanation - according to Comicbook's theory - is that the Soul Stone is revealed to be in the Quantum Realm in some way. That would then allow the end of Infinity War to reveal that Ant-Man & The Wasp have discovered it before flashing back to tell the story of how.

It would certainly explain why the film is coming out when it is, though that might be trying to find a reason where there isn't one. And on top of that, it would also give Ant-Man's sequel the marketing boost it will need to compete with some of the other more lucrative sequels in the MCU - particularly as it would become essential viewing for everyone who'd seen Infinity War.

Then again, that might be giving Marvel too much credit?
