Mentions Of Infinity Stones?

With HYDRA revealed to still be operating, the post-credits scene saw the revelation of Colonel Von Strucker's experiments with Loki's sceptre (containing the Mind Stone), whose powers had been used to empower the Twins with their super-powers.

Unless it turns out that super soldier serum used an Infinity Stone (an actual theory out there right now), The Winter Soldier had no other mention of Infinity Stones at all. It was more interested in the other ongoing MCU story - of HYDRA and S.H.I.E.L.D.

Relevant Story Details

Well, Infinity War will see the reunion of Bucky - now White Wolf - and Steve Rogers - now Nomad - bringing an end to The Winter Soldier story. If Thanos is clever, he'll use Bucky's HYDRA conditioning against him and his allies (though don't hold your breath).

The fact that Steve cared to save his friend will probably also mean that Bucky takes his expected death harder than everyone else.

Other than that, again, Captain America showed how committed he is to the cause of good, even when he's facing the impossible odds of his own paymasters working against him. He doesn't back down and that's going to come back into play in Infinity War once more.
