Avengers: Infinity War - Predicting The Fate Of Every Avenger

5. Vision

Based on the Infinity War footage description and where we last saw Vision, it's unclear where he'll be when the film opens.

The last time we heard from him was when Tony name-dropped him at the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming, mentioning that he was still housed in the Avengers facility.

But in the Infinity War footage, Iron Man looks to be in space, but Vision wasn't spotted in this environment at all. Wouldn't Tony want to take one of the most powerful beings in the universe with him? It seems like Vision has business of his own to take care of back on Earth, but exactly what that is remains to be seen.

What Will Happen To Him? We all know it's coming - that Mind Stone is not staying in Vision's forehead. While discussing Scarlet Witch, we mentioned how the Stone will be forcibly removed from Vision, and this will occur sometime during the movie's first half.

But what then? Vision will still be able to survive without the Stone, but he'll be far less powerful, and not capable of emitting the devastating beams he fired in Age Of Ultron and Civil War.

With Vision weakened, The Avengers will lose hope. But this opens up a perfect opportunity to end the movie - the Mind Stone begin returned to Vision's head.

Maybe this is part of Wanda's altered reality, or maybe our heroes manage to retrieve the Stone from Thanos' grasp, but it's hard to see Infinity War ending on a super-bleak tone, and this would be a great hook to lead into the sequel with.
