Avengers: Infinity War Trailer - 8 Most Revealing Shots

2. Bucky's Missing Arm Returns

It's a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment, but as the trailer approaches its climax, we get a shot of Bucky readying himself for battle, with his left hand holding an assault rifle.

This doesn't seem like a big deal at first, until you remember that the end of Captain America: Civil War saw him lose his left arm in a battle with Iron Man.

That lost arm was a robotic one, and as the trailer's final shot reveals, this new arm will follow suit. Since Bucky is safely tucked away in Wakanda at the end of Civil War, it's possible that the nation gifts him an arm that's made of Vibranium - a strong metal that's exclusive to Wakanda, and the same material that Cap's shield is made of.

This is a hugely important detail. Black Panther and Bucky aren't exactly on great terms in Civil War, and though they've settled most of their differences by the time the mid-credits scene has rolled around, for T'Challa to gift Bucky a brand-new limb is no small favour.

That being said, T'Challa will need all the help he can get in defending Wakanda against Thanos' forces, so getting Bucky fit and fighting as soon as possible is a smart move.
