Avengers: Infinity War Trailer - 8 Most Revealing Shots

1. Avengers (Mostly) Assembled

This final shot of most of the Avengers coming together contains a few details that are worth mentioning, most notably the fact that War Machine/Rhodey is back in his armour after his injury in Civil War - check him out in the top-left of the image.

But why isn't he with Tony? That's a question with a million possible answers. Maybe Tony is just off-camera, maybe he's battling elsewhere, or maybe he's... dead? Who knows.

This shot also gives us a closer look at Bucky (with his shiny new arm looking identical to his old one), Black Widow, Captain America, Hulk, Black Panther, and Falcon. This means that Hulk will find his way to Wakanda at some point - despite crashing by Doctor Strange, who's presumably in New York - reuniting with Black Widow in the process.

Out of each character in this shot, Cap's attire is particularly interesting. He isn't sporting a shield - despite Black Panther mentioning that he needs one earlier in the trailer - or is he?

Look closely and you can see two gauntlets on Cap's wrists. This could be a nod to Captain America: Steve Rogers, where Cap uses a shield that he can separate into two pieces, or combine them to make a full-sized shield.

Maybe he can expand and click both those gauntlets together to form a shield? Or maybe they're just Assassin's Creed-style wrist-blades instead. We don't get to see them in action, so we'll have to wait until next April (or the next trailer) to find out for certain.

What else did the trailer reveal? Let us know down in the comments.
