Batman V Superman: 12 Biggest Questions It Leaves Unanswered
4. Was The Flash Real Or Not?
The Question: Immediately after the "Knightmare" sequence, Bruce is met with a visage of The Flash, who warns him of a future danger, mentioning that Lois is the key to it all and implores him to seek out the rest of the Justice League. It's a trippy moment, albeit one where, given its sudden appearance and seamless integration into the rest of the movie, we can't figure out if it's a dream or The Flash actually using his powers to deliver a message to Bruce from the future. The Likely Answer: It's definitely real. Of course, it could be a dream within a dream, but it would be getting pretty damn silly if, just two movies into this series, Bruce is having convoluted dreams inside his head out of nowhere that just so happen to align with reality. The Flash used the Speed Force to send the message to Bruce, and nothing else would make much sense at all. Then again, considering the movie's frequent lapses in logic, anything is possible.
