Batman V Superman: 7 Reasons Ben Affleck Is The Best Batman Ever
4. He's A Believable Force Of Physicality
For Batman to make sense, he needs to be a physical force of the highest caliber. Did anyone ever believe that Michael Keaton could throw a worthy punch, or that George Clooney would get into a fight and risk breaking a nail? Uh-uh. Ben Affleck, however, is presented as quite the specimen across the span of Batman v Superman. Hell, he's freakin' ripped. In order to believe in Batman, you need to believe in his physical capabilities, after all, and there's not a moment in the movie where you're thinking: "Hey, this guy wouldn't be able to take on all those dudes at once, c'mon!" You simply buy into the fact that he'd be able to take down multiple guys or go toe to toe with Doomsday, a monster the size of two men, because Affleck has ensured that he looks the part: he's built like a brick sh*thouse, and - for once - it seems fairly plausible that a single punch from this particularly strong human being could knock you out cold.
