Batman V Superman: Ranking The Performances From Worst To Best
8. Scoot McNairy - Wallace Keefe
As the former Wayne Enterprises employee who winds up losing his legs during the Superman vs. Zod incident seen at the end of Man of Steel, Wallace Keefe - played by the talented actor that is Scoot McNairy - could have been way better realised. He's hellbent on getting revenge on Superman, after all, blaming him for the incident that left thousands dead. But like with so much of the film, Zack Snyder doesn't give this guy any of the characters time to breathe or develop, so Wallace Keefe fails to be a fully-realised individual and instead becomes a mere plot device. McNairy plays him well enough, but the character is about as one-note as they come: Keefe sits there looking angry and miserable whenever he appears, and only has a few lines. Then he makes an unexpected - and explosive - exit. Why did McNairy bother?
