3. Karl Urban
Karl Urban is another actor who would thrive in such a huge leading role; he even has comic book experience, having played Judge Dredd in 2012. And if his role as Bones in Star Trek is anything to go by, Urban would meticulously study the finer details in Bruce Wayne's characterisation. He's charming enough for sure, engaging, with a fantastic voice, and a frightening streak; the New Zealander would certainly be a different kind of Wayne from Bale's portrayal, but he'd keep some of the facets that made Nolan's Batman so engrossing. Would Urban have time for such a big film though? There's his commitment to Star Trek, the possibility of more Almost Human, and anyway, who says he'd want a role similar to Dredd?
