10. Clark Kent Goes To Gotham

The leaked shots of filming in Detroit saw Henry Cavill visiting Gotham City - and specifically the jail - presumably to interview someone key to an investigation. Perhaps this is the trigger that leads to Lex Luthor's attempts to squash the Daily Planet? According to some rumours, Luthor will take over the Metropolis paper as a marketing plot: the assumption was that it was in response to Lois Lane's investigation of him, but it might be more to do with Kent's actions. Could Gotham jail hold a prisoner who knows the true nature of Luthor? Someone who knows of his past association with street gangs and has an idea of his dark agenda? That would suit Luthor's motives in buying the Planet and might further explain why Batman ends up with a direct line to the villain.
