11. Vision

In Civil War, Vision is basically your typical android fish out of water, attempting to learn to live within humanity (and blend in, despite the obvious issues) and come to terms with new feelings that are alien to his "programming".

As such he skirts the line between Wall-E, Data from Star Trek and Doctor Manhattan, giving it a good go, but failing in occasionally comic and occasionally tragic ways. And while the scenes of him making paprikash or wandering around the Avengers Compound in his new human clothes are a little silly, his dynamic with Scarlet Witch is good.

Ultimately when he has no option but to stop Wanda with violence, his conflict is heart-breaking (as is the sight of him being slammed through the floor), and there was a lot of promise in their dynamic for future movies.
