DC FanDome: 10 Major New Details About The Future Of The DCEU Revealed

A trailer for The Suicide Squad wasn't shared during DC FanDome, but a cast reveal and behind the scenes featurette pulled back the curtain on James Gunn's movie in some exciting ways. In terms of plot details, not much was shared, but it was compared to a 70s war movie (fans, meanwhile, were told not to get too fond of Task Force X as there are going to be some casualties).

So, who is playing who?

Well, the characters include Amanda Waller (Viola Davis), Colonel Rick Flag (Joel Kinnaman), Savant (Michael Rooker), Javelin (Flula Borg), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Polka Dot Man (David Dastmalchian), Ratcatcher 2 (Daniela Melchoir), King Shark (Steve Agee), Mongal (Mayling Ng), The Thinker (Peter Capaldi), Sol Soria (Alice Braga), Blackguard (Pete Davidson), TDK (Nathan Fillion), Weasel (Sean Gunn), Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney), and The Peacemaker (John Cena).

Perhaps the biggest reveal was the fact Idris Elba is actually playing Bloodsport, a villain who ended up behind bars after attempting to shoot Superman! Later, Gunn would take to Twitter to confirm that Juan Diego Botto is playing Luna, Storm Reid is Tyla, Joaquin Cosio is General Mateo Suarez, and Jennifer Holland is Emilia Harcourt.
