DC: Ranking Every Upcoming Movie & TV Show By Anticipation

3. Wonder Woman

DC Movies TV Justice League Flash Arrow
Warner Bros.

Before San Diego Comic-Con 2016, Wonder Woman was already pretty highly anticipated. At last, a major superhero solo movie with a woman in the lead role. A talented director in Patty Jenkins, a script from comic book veterans Allan Heinberg and Geoff Johns, and with Gal Gadot in the title role - after being one of the best things about Batman v Superman.

However, SDCC kicked things into a whole other gear, with a fantastic trailer that stood as one of the very best of the whole event. It looks like there's going to be a lot working in this film's favour, from the impressive action sequences, the period setting, some nice moments of levity, and an intriguing story of a war involving the Amazonians.

We've been here before in terms of optimism, but based on what we've seen so far, Wonder Woman could be the first genuinely good entry into the DCEU.

Release Date: June 2, 2017.
