DCEU: 21 In-Development Movies Ranked From Most To Least Likely

12. Green Lantern Corps

Deathstroke Harley Quinn
DC Comics

Chances Of It Happening: 6/10

A new Green Lantern movie - later revealed as Green Lantern Corps - was announced in 2014, three years after the disastrous first live-action take on the character, which starred Ryan Reynolds.

In January 2017, David Goyer and Justin Rhodes were hired to write the script, and then, last December, Warner Bros unveiled a title card for the movie at the Comic-Con Experience in Sao Paulo (via Comic-Book.com), essentially confirming the movie is still in development (this was later backed up by Goyer).

So we know that the movie is in the works, but is it ever likely to progress past the scripting stage?

Those who saw Justice League will remember that Green Lantern was teased during the battle with Steppenwolf, but easter eggs, title cards and unmade scripts are basically worthless until the studio hires a director and some actors for this thing, and given their rough history with Green Lantern, it's understandable they'd be hesitant to move forward.

He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
