1. Justice League 2 Will Draw From Jack Kirby And Darkseid War

The Rumour

The story for Justice League 2 will draw heavily on both Jack Kirby's work and Geoff Johns' Darkseid War. Mister Miracle and Orion have been discussed for appearances, among others.

This feels like a logical extension of everything we already know about Justice League. It's been rumoured for some time that Darkseid will be the major villain for the sequel, after his uncle Steppenwolf appears in the first movie this year, so it definitely feels like it's building to something bigger involving the New Gods.

Those New Gods, including Darkseid, Orion, and Mister Miracle, were all created by Kirby, while Darkseid War was a recent major storyline and Johns is overseeing the DCEU, so both of those make at least some degree of sense. Quite how much it'll adapt is unclear, but it fits with using more recent comic storylines, and seeing Darkseid fighting against the Justice League.
