DCEU: Ranking Every Big Fight Scene From Worst To Best

The seventh entry in the DCEU, Shazam was a wonderful delight and a refreshingly intimate story compared to its predecessors. The Superman-meets-Big story was charming, full of heart and a nice change of pace from earlier entries' more 'Sturm und Drang' approach to storytelling.

That said its small scale (due to having the smallest budget out of all DCEU films at that point)did not lend itself to grand skirmishes between Earth's Mightiest Mortal and his nemeses, Dr. Sivana, and the Seven Deadly Sins.

The film was able to get around this by imbuing Shazam's adoptive siblings with his godly power and throwing them into the mix of things.

This power-up allowed for each sibling to uniquely express themselves and play on character traits (e.g. Darla was always seen to be running late yet she quickly masters super-speed) and ensured that the final battle was never a dull affair in spite of its reduced scale.
