Doctor Who: 10 Actors That Should Guest Star In Series 9

3. Emma Watson

Watson would be the dream choice for a lot of people. She enchanted hearts and minds as Hermione in the Harry Potter series before going on to prove that she wasn't just a one-trick wonder with solid performances in the likes of The Bling Ring and The Perks of Being a Wallflower. While she's known for being a film star, she's also done some TV work, too, starring in Ballet Shoes opposite Sarah Jane Adventures alumni Yasmin Paige. This means that it's not inconceivable that she'd be up for a stint in Doctor Who. And what a coup that would be for the series! Watson would bring a lot of media focus and would draw in a lot of viewers. She's not a bad performer either, and it'd be really interesting to see how she'd interact with Capaldi and Coleman, or how she'd cope with a Moffat script. Admittedly, it is unlikely to ever happen, as much as viewers would love it. Watson's film career shows no signs of slowing down as she's recently been announced as Belle in Disney's live action version of Beauty and the Beast, There's also that little matter of being a UN ambassador, which also takes up a lot of her time. But it's still fun to speculation, no?
