The one thing above all else that Honour Among Thieves benefits from is the undeniably game efforts of its ensemble cast, who are absolutely committed to this material.

Chris Pine again gets to show how skilled a comedic performer he is, while as his comrade Holga, Michelle Rodriguez gets to demonstrate a little more personality than her blockbuster roles usually allow her.

Beyond the aforementioned Regé-Jean Page, Justice Smith and Sophia Lillis nicely round out the central adventurers as sorcerer Simon and druid Doric respectively.

Yet the MVP is surely Hugh Grant, whose delightfully scenery-chewing turn as villainous con artist Forge Fitzwilliam sees him steal every single scene he's in. Grant's clearly having a whale of a time existing in this world, and is perfectly cast as the duplicitous, self-serving Bad Guy.

There's also a wildly unexpected and quite funny cameo from a certain A-lister mid-way through the movie, though giving their identity away here would be criminal...
