Every Adam Sandler Movie Ranked By How Punchable Adam Sandler Is

23. Blended

Adam Sandler Punch Happy Gilmore
Warner Bros. Pictures

As Adam Sandler ages, he starts to look more and more like the popular kid in high school who tried his hand at bigger and better things, only to return to his old stomping grounds and remain tethered to the only place that treated him like a star. And Blended is the most embarrassing of high school reunions.

Rejoining the woman who helped make him a crossover star in The Wedding Singer, he and Drew Barrymore can still deliver the occasional bit of snappy repartee, but they too often seem overly medicated. And bored.

It's obvious that this was a bit of a rush job - Barrymore even admitted as much during the press junket - and neither of them had much to prove. Which is a bummer, because this is one of those genial Sandler movies that you actually want to like.

Punch Level: No clenched fists, but an exhausting number of flicks to the ear. On second thought, maybe just one punch...
