One of two more dramatic roles Schwarzenegger took on in the latter half of the 2010s, Maggie saw the actor in the role of a father struggling to come to terms with the coming death of his daughter - the eponymous Maggie in question, portrayed by Abigail Breslin - following her infection in a zombie outbreak. Schwarzenegger takes to the material with ease, emanating sadness and regret to an affecting degree. It isn't exceptional as far as zombie dramas go, but it may leave you wishing that more studios sat up and took note of what Schwarzenegger accomplished with this dramatic detour.

In his current role, Ewan incorporates his love of cinema, comic books, and history into written pieces and video essays for WhatCulture's Film & TV channel, as well as WhatCulture Gaming and WhatCulture Horror, with a particular focus on nineties-era Dad Movies, old school Westerns, and Golden Age Hollywood Noir.
