Every Ben Affleck Movie Ranked From Worst To Best
16. Clerks II (2006)
Clerks absolutely didn't need a sequel, and yet catching up with Dante (Brian O'Halloran) and Randall (Jeff Anderson) 12 years later was an irresistible proposition for Kevin Smith fans.
The result, surprisingly, is both perversely hilarious and unexpectedly emotional, in one breath serving up gags about racism and bestiality, and then offering a genuinely earnest, affecting examination of impending parenthood.
Affleck sadly only shows up for a brief cameo, not as himself or Holden but a Mooby's customer, yet given the film's comedic and dramatic momentum regardless, it doesn't want for him too much.
It's not a classic sequel by any means, but an entertaining victory lap for one of the most iconic and important indies of the 1990s.
