15. Chicken Little

Chicken Little represented a first and a last for Disney: it was their first fully CGI animated motion picture and their last to be produced under the Walt Disney Feature Animation name, before the company switched to the now familiar Walt Disney Animation Studios.

Sadly, their first computer animated movie arrived with more of a whimper than a bang, becoming one of their more forgettable efforts to date. Based on the fable of the same name (admittedly a story light on substance), Chicken Little seemed to place more emphasis on giving the animators and artists scope to play with their new creative toys, rather than delivering a solid story with nicely developed characters.

It's a shame as the project had some potential, and voice actors Zach Braff, Joan Cusack and others certainly had the talent to make the most of better material. Surprisingly it managed to match The Lion King's opening weekend success, tying as the largest opening weekend for a Disney movie and turning the company around after a series of undeperforming releases.
