EVERY Halloween Death RANKED By Stupidity

Debra Strode - Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers

Sure, being confronted with the ominous figure of Michael Myers in your home is clearly a troubling thing, and even more so when you've just had a chilling phone call from the Man in Black, but that's really no excuse whatsoever for forgetting the layout of your own property.

However, that's pretty much what happens to Debra Strode, the aunt of Laurie Strode.

When she realises Michael's in her house, Debra does the sensible thing and heads for the exit, reaching her back door and getting to her garden. Bizarrely, though, she then kinda gets lost in her garden and becomes disorientated. There's some fresh washing on the line, but that's not really enough to cause such confusion in one of a stupid film's more stupid deaths, as Michael hides behind a bed sheet to attack Debra with a hatchet.

Mikey - Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers

Safe to say, Halloween 5 has more than its fair share of dumb kills. As in, these kills often look pretty good, but just the decisions of the victims left a lot to be desired.

Step forward, Mikey.

This is the greaser boyfriend of Tina, and he winds up as the third kill of The Revenge of Michael Myers. That kill comes in a local garage Mikey has picked some beer up from, with him deciding to confront Michael after the Shape has scratched Mikey's car.

It's not like Michael is hiding here; he's in full view, in broad daylight, dressed in his usual outfit, and at a time when Haddonfield is more than aware of Michael following the events of three other movies. The point being, Mikey has to know who Michael Myers is, and so deciding to confront Michael was a total bonehead decision - a decision that left him with a garden claw in his head.

Jeremy Allen - Halloween Ends

For those who hated the fact that Halloween Ends spent so much of its runtime focussing on Corey Cunningham rather than Michael Myers, you can blame a lot of that on Jeremy Allen.

Jeremy is the kid that Corey's babysitting at the beginning of the movie, the one and the same kid who pranked Corey by locking him in the attic. And yes, the one and the same kid who ended up falling to his death when Corey kicked that attic door open, knocking Jeremy over a bannister and to his death.

Of course, that then causes Corey to be arrested on a manslaughter charge, and even though he's cleared of any wrongdoing, he becomes an outcast to the majority of Haddonfield's citizens, ridiculed by bullies, and forever looked at as a child killer by some.

The moral of the story here is, if you're planning to play a prank on someone, you'd better be prepared should that prank backfire.
