Every James Bond Henchmen Ranked

6. Jaws - The Spy Who Loved Me & Moonraker

Adolph Gettler James Bond
MGM

Jaws (Richard Kiel), for most of his two-film appearance, is a great henchman.

A tall man with superhuman strength and metal teeth, Jaws is a goofy yet brilliantly intimidating villain who always feels like a huge threat to Bond. As such, he's another fantastic mixture of silly and threatening who strikes exactly the right balance between these two vibes (unlike many things in the Roger Moore era) and this makes him an all-timer Bond henchman.

Unfortunately for some fans, Moonraker completely ruined him by turning him into a joke and having him fall in love with some random woman, Dolly (Blanche Ravalec). He's then turned into Bond's ally in a rather awkward, forced manner and all the menace the character once carried is stripped away.

He is still a very good henchman overall, but he'd fallen a long way by the end and this prevents him from rising higher in the rankings.
