EVERY Jurassic Park & World Death RANKED By Stupidity
27. The Boat Crew - The Lost World: Jurassic Park
This is a difficult entry on this list to gauge because the circumstances behind the deaths of the boat crew bringing the T-Rexes over to San Diego in The Lost World are unclear, at best. Something doesn't quite add up on screen, but we can make an educated guess at least.
As the ship smashed through the pier, it became clear that the entire crew had been destroyed by the Rex that they were transporting. However, the beast was still locked up in the cargo hold, so it's unclear exactly how it happened.
The slight plot hole aside, however, the crew gave the Rex a tranquiliser to sedate it, but as it began to slip into a coma, they tried to counteract the measures with something of an adrenaline boost. The problem is that they didn't know the correct dosage, and so, in Sarah Harding's (Julianne Moore) words, they turned the greatest predator the Earth has ever seen into a locomotive.
The Rex certainly didn't need any help hunting, particularly when defending its offspring, but the crew didn't exactly do themselves any favours here.
