Every Leonardo DiCaprio Movie Ranked Worst To Best

4. The Wolf Of Wall Street (2013)

Leonardo DiCaprio Shutter Island
Paramount Pictures

Over twenty years of creative partnership has given DiCaprio and Scorsese some of their finest films, from The Departed to Shutter Island, but The Wolf of Wall Street will most likely be the project their collaborative history is best remembered for.

Gloriously outrageous and hilariously over-the-top, Scorsese's vulgar and exciting adaptation of Jordan Belfort's unbelievable autobiography casts DiCaprio in the role of an amoral stock broker whose life descends into madness due to drugs, money laundering schemes, FBI investigations, and, yes, more drugs.

DiCaprio easily sells Belfort as a monster, but fills the screen with such energy and confidence that it's hard not to root for the guy. He combines physical comedy with vein-popping rage and arrogance, and Scorsese (god love him) lets him run wild.
