Every Marvel Phase 3 Film Ranked By Anticipation

2. Captain America: Civil War

Release Date: May 6, 2016 We're just a few months out from Captain America's third solo outing, though it might as well be another Avengers film considering he'll be joined by a cast of characters that includes Iron Man, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Falcon, the Winter Soldier, War Machine, Scarlet Witch, Vision, and Ant-Man. Not to mention, it'll feature the MCU introductions of Spider-Man and Black Panther. On top of that impressive roster, Frank Grillo's Brock Rumlow is emerging from the wreckage of The Winter Soldier€™s events as the villainous Crossbones, Emily VanCamp's Agent 13 will have a more active role her second time out, the always reliable Martin Freeman is part of the cast, 2008€™s The Incredible Hulk will finally be relevant again with the return of William Hurt's General Ross, and longtime Cap villain Baron Zemo will somehow fit into it all. On all fronts, Civil War is clearly going to be the MCU€™s biggest film yet, pitting characters fans have come to love against one another, challenging and forever changing dynamics that have been in place for several years now. It's a daunting task for any director, but with Joe and Anthony Russo at the helm - after garnering a lot of well-deserved credit for the excellent The Winter Soldier - it's easy to feel like the project is in the right hands and that the hype will be met come this May.
