Every MCU Dad - Ranked From Worst To Best

There are some parts of Adrian Toomes which make him seem like that perfect dad. He’s loving to his wife and daughter, he wants to give them the best possible life he can, he won’t back down if he thinks his family is in danger, and isn’t above some light hearted ribbing of his daughter’s new boyfriend.

The problem is he’s also a supervillain arms dealer who tries to kill said boyfriend and then gets sent down for it. As you can imagine, overall this will count as a net negative in his daughter Liz’s life.

It does seem that the pair still have a healthy relationship, regardless of how much or little Toomes deserves it. However, this is only enough to bump him up to halfway; he is evil after all.

He raises the interesting question of how good a villain can be, and whether villainy matters to how good a father you are. All we can say for sure is, he seemed to do a good job raising Liz, which is enough to earn him this ranking here.

With him, Peter Parker becomes the second MCU Peter to have horrible luck with father in laws.
