Every MCU Movie Ranked By Death Count

14. Black Panther - 62

Guardians Of The Galaxy 2
Marvel Studios

Ironically, Black Panther featured more actual civil war than Captain America: Civil War. When Killmonger took the Wakandan throne, T'Challa returned to unite the Dora Milaje and the Jabari Tribe to fight against the new King and the Border Tribe.

30 warriors lost their lives on the battlefield, including Killmonger himself taking the life of a Dora, at least five were killed by W'Kabi's rhinos, Everett Ross took out four ships with their pilots, T'Challa killed two himself, Shuri knocked one of the Border Tribe into the heart of the mountain, and one of W'Kabi's soldiers was brutally stabbed when the Jabari joined the battle.

Aside from this, there was death and murder all throughout the movie. Erik Killmonger and Ulysses Klaue weren't shy about killing people, as they racked up 11 on screen kills between them, including the former taking the latter's life after escaping T'Challa in South Korea.

Six were killed during the titular character's 'rescue' of Nakia, and a further 15 bit the dust in Busan, all without counting the 'many lives' that were lost when Klaue first stole the vibranium from Wakanda before the events of the movie itself.

There were three major deaths that shaped the story of Black Panther, however. King T'Chaka murdered his own brother, N'Jadaka's father, with the Wakandan Prince subsequently taking out his vengeance on Zuri, before his own death in what was one of the MCU's most hauntingly beautiful, and meaningful scenes ever.
