Every MCU Movie Ranked By Death Count
13. Captain America: Civil War - 64
With Civil War finishing off the Captain America trilogy, rumours and theories swirled around that at least one Avenger, possibly Cap himself, would die. While Rhodey came very close, there were no super hero casualties, but there were plenty of civilians.
With no huge final battle to up the death count like many other MCU movies, the majority of Civil War's deaths came from two main events. 34 people lost their lives in Lagos, four thanks to Sam and Redwing, one thanks to Natasha, one at the hands of Rumlow, and 27 including Crossbones in the explosion caused by Wanda.
The second big tragedy of the movie saw at least 12 lives taken, with 70 more injured when Zemo blew up the UN building in Vienna, but this certainly isn't the end of the villain's kill count. He murdered the HYDRA agent from which he took Bucky's instruction manual, the psychiatrist brought in to speak to the Winter Soldier, and the five others just like Barnes in Siberia.
Bucky himself was responsible for the deaths of roughly eight guards during his escape from Everett Ross' custody, and of course murdered Howard and Maria Stark. Civil War even had a death by natural causes, somewhat rarely seen in superhero movies, as Peggy Carter sadly passed away in her sleep.
