First BOND 25 Image Makes Us Yearn For The Past

Daniel Craig's 007 is certainly not looking particularly shaken nor stirred.

As Daniel Craig gears up for his final 007 outing, the first official image Bond 25 image has been revealed.

Looking appropriately dapper, Craig’s James Bond can be seen sporting a sharp suit, a shiny watch, and some, err, sunlight-stopping sunglasses (because yay for alliteration!). But what’s that in the background? Yes, the eagle-eyed amongst you will recognise that as the same Aston Martin V8 Vantage driven by Timothy Dalton’s Bond in The Living Daylights.

In terms of plot specifics, Bond 25 will reportedly pick things up with a retired (again!) Bond enjoying his best life in sunny Jamaica. That retirement predictably doesn’t last, with the CIA turning up at James’ door to beg for his assistance in rescuing a kidnapped scientist. Oscar winner Rami Malek will be the tech-driven villain at the centre of this tale.

With True Detective’s Cary Joji Fukunaga on directing duties, Bond 25 is currently set for an April 8th, 2020 release. And no, the film’s official title still hasn’t been revealed; hence why we’re still painfully having to refer to the movie as Bond 25.
