9. Godzilla Blasts A Hole Through The Earth
It's fair to say that pretty much anything goes at this point in the movie, but it's still nothing short of ridiculous that Godzilla uses his famed atomic breath to literally blast a hole through the surface of the Earth.
He ends up creating a gigantic cavern which leads directly from the neon-soaked streets of Hong Kong into Hollow Earth.
It may be silly, but it's nothing if not an efficient way to keep things chugging along and speed us towards the hype-as-hell second battle between Godzilla and Kong.
