4. The Night Manager Dominating

What was I saying about Brits? It was a big night for the UK in the TV categories, and a much bigger surprise than The Crown was that The Night Manager received so much love.

The show took home three awards in the Limited Series acting categories, with Tom Hiddleston winning for Best Performance by an Actor, and Hugh Laurie and Olivia Colman winning the supporting awards.

Hiddleston and Laurie winning feel particularly egregious, given the strength of their categories, which saw them win over far worthier nominees Courtney B. Vance (The People v O.J. Simpson), Riz Ahmed (The Night Of), and Sterling K. Brown (The People v O.J. Simpson). Best Supporting Actress was perhaps a little more open, but the award still should've went to Lena Headey (Game of Thrones) or Thandie Newton (Westworld).
