Guardians Of The Galaxy: 10 Glaring Flaws Everybody Just Ignored

1. That Orb Was Ridiculously Easy To Attain

The film's opening scene sees Chris Pratt's Peter Quill on a mission to locate a mystical artefact, which turns out to be a sort of orb-thing that everybody spends the sum of the movie trying to locate. What should have been super difficult to recover, however, given its ability to - you know - destroy entire planets, proves to be no big deal to attain: Quill kicks a few little lizards, opens a door, and the orb is his. That was it? You'd think that something of such great, unspeakable power would at least have trigged a few booby traps, giving Chris Pratt the chance to play Indiana Jones as he dodged poisonous arrows or rolled out of the way as a huge boulder tried to crush him. It doesn't make a lot of sense that the orb was basically just sitting there, waiting to be taken; nor does it make sense that it took so long for people to come and get it. Like this article?
