Guardians Of The Galaxy: Predicting The Order Of The 5 Members' Popularity
3. Star-Lord
Chris Pratt is arguably meant to be the film's main star, given that he's the titular team's leader and the only character who is appearing as himself (i.e. not in make-up or as a CGI character), but it's unlikely that he'll come away from it with that being the case. The first problem is that Pratt isn't really that big a movie star - he's just "that guy from Parks and Recreation" in some people's eyes. The second and most important problem is that his character comes across as kind of annoying, going by the trailer. He seems to be a guy who makes life as awkward as possible for those around him and his one-liners seem like an attempt to portray the character as this movie's Tony Stark - however, sadly, he just doesn't have the same level of charisma as Robert Downey Jr. and that means he's not really capable of being that funny. He'll get lots of screen time, undoubtedly, and he'll probably come away from the movie as the one responsible for ultimately saving the day - and that will prevent him from being the least popular character - but, given the traits of the next two characters in this list, he hasn't got a hope in hell of being the stand-out character in the movie.
