9. All Five Main Characters Will Return

For anybody who worried that Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 wouldn't feature all five members of the original team, don't fret: it has been confirmed that Star Lord (Chris Pratt), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Drax the Destroyer (Dave Bautista), Rocket Racoon (Bradley Cooper) and Groot (Vin Diesel) will all reprise their roles from the first flick, which is kind of the best news that any fan of Guardians Of The Galaxy could have hoped for. That's not all: Yondu (Michael Rooker), Kraglin (Sean Gunn) and Nebula (Karen Gillan) are all set to return to their roles in Guardians 2 - in what capacity, however (or for how long) it's exactly clear, but it is rumoured that Nebula will have the biggest role of all three. Contrary to some rumours claiming that he will make a comeback (and the fact that he's a long-time villain in the comics), Lee Pace won't return as bad guy Ronan the Accuser: James Gunn has insisted that he's dead. "Ronan is a bad guy," he said when probed. "We killed him. Not everything is going to happen in the movies the same as the comics."
