1. No Prizes For Guessing Who Steals The Show

You already know that Baby Groot will be the most talked about element of this film long after it's out of cinemas. He'll likely sell a sh*tload of merch for Disney, he'll get his own spin-off eventually and even the most cynical of audience members will fall hopelessly in love with him.

The critics all seem to be suggesting he lives up to early expectations too, but he's not actually getting universal acclaim as the film's best character, as you might have expected. There's a lot of appreciation out there for Drax too, which you could predict from how his new role in the trailers went over, and surprisingly, new character Mantis got some love...

Even the least impressed of the attendees reserved special praise for her...
