Number two on the list of 10 Songs That Need To Be In The Guardians Of The Galaxy Holiday Special is "Last Christmas" by Wham!, the English pop due. Their Christmas single was released in December 1984 and was written and produced by the late George Michael. The song reached Number Two in the UK and was voted the UK's eighth favourite Christmas song in 2012.
Apart from it being a Christmas song, it is also clearly a love song about two lovers finding themselves falling out of love and reflecting on their last Christmas together. It would therefore seem appropriate to include the song during a moment between Star-Lord and Gamora.
Despite the version of Gamora we will be seeing in any future Marvel moving being the Gamora from 2014 (after present-day Gamora was killed in Avengers: Endgame), we still know that Gamora has some hidden feelings towards Peter Quill - even if she doesn't know that herself.
