Han Solo Movie: Everything You Need To Know

One of the hottest rumours going around is that Boba Fett will show up in the Han Solo movie, causing trouble for the central smuggler and teeing up his own spinoff movie. Indeed, a Boba Fett film was in development at Lucasfilm a couple of years ago, with Josh Trank of Chronicle and Fantastic Four at the helm. Trank left the project after his Fant4stic flop, but the fact he was involved at all suggests the Boba Fett movie intended as a dark and gritty, ground-level action flick.

There is certainly room for a crossover here. Perhaps Han's western/heist film will see a price being put on his head, with the galaxy's coolest bounty hunter then popping by to collect. After an epic action sequence, the briefest glimpse of Boba's next job could tee him up for his own film nicely.

It will be interesting to see if they put the prequels' Jango Fett actor Temuera Morrison back in the suit, or get someone else to do it. He's 56 now, and it's unclear if he'd be up for the stunt work. Even if he's not, Lucasfilm could still make it work with a bit of dubbing magic. Whoever it is beneath the mask, fans would queue up to see a proper face-off between Han and Boba, especially after the latter's dissapointing send-off in Return Of The Jedi.
