Harry Potter: Ranking Every Movie Ending From Worst To Best

Despite the fact The Order of the Phoenix is the weakest of the Harry Potter movies, the finale is an exhilarating piece of filmmaking.

The conflict down in the Department of Mysteries is a non-stop thrill ride, and it’s great to see the various DA members utilise their recently acquired skills against the Death Eaters.

The intensity only continues when the Order of the Phoenix arrive. Though it would have been nice to see Dumbledore take on the Death Eaters like he did in the book, this scene is still captivating to watch. Indeed, Harry’s reaction to the death of his godfather is a superb piece of acting from Radcliffe.

However, the crowning jewel of this finale is the duel between Dumbledore and Voldemort in the atrium. Watching these two titans go against each other is undoubtedly the best duel of the franchise.

It’s a shame the rest of the movie is rather lacking, but the last fifteen minutes of this adaptation is irresistibly entertaining.
